Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulation Wing) issued Notification for Revised Basic Pay Scales 2022 as well as Allowances Federal on 1st July 2022. The Basic Pay scales 2022 was introduced after emerging adhoc relief allowances 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 into basic pay. Federal Government last time revised the pay scales in 2017.
Notification Revised Basic Pay Scales 2022 & Allowances
The Basic Pay Scales-2022 shall replace the Basic Pay Scales-2017 with effect from 01-07-2022 as contained in the Annexure to this Office Memorandum. With increase in salaries of government employers, Federal government also increase the pensions of retired persons as well.
Ad-hoc Relief Allowance 2022
An Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2022 increased by 15% of the running basic pay of BPS-2017 shall be allowed to the civil employees of the Federal Government as well as civilians paid out of Defence estimates. The Ad-hoc Relief Allowance will be admissible during leave and the entire period of L.P.R. except during extraordinary leave. The Ad-hoc Relief Allowance will also be admissible during the period of suspension.
