Sudden flooding Collapses Railway bridge along the Quetta-Peshawar line

Due to the accident, Quetta’s railway connectivity was suspended for another month. The collapsed part of the bridge was located at the Mach district station.

Division Superintendent Nisar Khan has ordered authorities to complete immediate repair work for the collapsed bridge.

Railway operations from Peshawar and Karachi to Quetta were suspended until the repair work was completed.

The managing director of the Pakistani Railways said that responsibility for the repair work was entrusted to the National Logistics Cell.

Numerous lives have been lost due to rain accidents across the country since July.
