Punjab Govt Announces 6 Holidays for Schools Colleges and Universities

Lahore: The government of Punjab has declared an extended break for all schools and colleges in the province due to the upcoming general elections on February 8th. This decision means that both public and private educational institutions will be closed from February 6th to February 9th, creating a six-day holiday period when including the public holiday on February 5th (Kashmir Day) and the Sunday on February 4th.

In addition to the extended break, there is also a temporary change in school start times. Starting from February 4th, schools will begin at 9:30 am until February 3rd, and regular school hours will resume after this brief period.
