Pakistan Railway Decide To Fine Those Who Spit On Green Line Express Train

The federal railway’s minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique, presided over a meeting on Tuesday to go over the features and services of the recently upgraded Green Line train.

The group decided to punish anyone found spitting on the Green Line train and endangering it. The authorities have decided to modernize Karakoram Express in line with the Green Line Express plan.

During the meeting, a report on the sale of stores situated on railroad land was presented, and it was resolved to review the policy. A report on wage and pension payments was also given at the meeting.

The session covered in great detail how rising fuel prices will impact operating costs for railroads.

The railway was formally opened last Monday by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who also examined a passenger train using recently acquired Chinese bogies.

Following its departure from Margalla station, the Green Line train will stop in Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri, Hyderabad, and Drug Road, according to Pakistan Railways. The train will run on fresh carriages that were just imported from China.

The turnaround time for the Green Line is fixed at 22 hours and will be gradually shortened.

According to the instructions of Minister of Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq, breakfast, lunch, hi-tea, and dinner would be supplied to the passengers during the journey. In addition to these things, the passengers will also get luxury bedding and utility supplies.
